Description

The addax is a sandy to almost white color during the summer, darkening to a grayish brown in the winter. White markings are present on the face, ears, belly, hips, and legs, and there is a black tuft of hair on the forehead. Horns are present on both males and females

Range -Addax is an antelope that lives in Sahara and North Africa. 

Habitat - It lives in deserts

Diet - It eats grass, leaves, and twigs.

Status - There have been fewer than 500 remaining in the wild. this animal may even decline if people are not careful..

Reason for the status - This is because of  people hunting them for meat and their skin excessively, and habitat loss.

What kind of animal is it - It is a herbivore. 

Gestation : 8.5 months

Longevity : 19 years
