AMPHIBIA

	Amphibians are animals that live both in land and water.
	Like reptiles they are cold blooded animals.
	They have moist skin.
	Most species lay their eggs in the water.
	Young larva stage is in water and adult in terrestrial (Land).
	All adults of amphibians are carnivores.
	Some of them develop on land directly.
	Most amphibians skin helps them to maintain water balance and protect their body

There are three orders of Amphibia.

1. Caecilians – (Earthworms) - they are limbless, with bullet shaped heads and tails.

2. Caudata - (Salamanders and Newts) - cylindrical bodies long tailed with heads and necks and well developed limbs.

3. Anura – (frogs and toads) they have stout tailess body with well developed limbs.
