General Characteristics

Head to body Length : 23-44 inches ( 3 - 6 feet )

Height : 18-31 inches ( 1foot 6 inches - 2 feet and 7 inches ) 

Weight  : Males :  146 - 344 kg ( 66-155 lb) / Females : 98 - 229 kg (44 -103 lbs )

Description : 

Large, spotted cat with short powerful limbs, heavy torso, thick neck, and long tail. Background color ranges from tawny yellow to reddish brown. Under parts are white, the rest of the body is covered with dark spots arranged in rosettes on torso and upper limbs. Smaller scattered spots on lower limbs and head.

Range - Eastern Siberia , North China and South Korea

Habitat -  Woodlands , Savannahs, and Tropical Forests

Diet - Wild Boar , deer, badgers, or whatever foam of animal protein is available   

Status - . Now there are 20-30  of this leopard species remaining  in the wild.

Reason for the status - habitat loss, people using leopard fur as coats

Gestation : 95 - 105 days
