Physical Description The distinctive cloud-shaped markings of their coats make clouded leopards unmistakable. The fur is marked with elliptical blotches of a darker color than the background and the posterior edge of each blotch is partially framed in black. The blotches sit on a background field that varies from yellowish brown to dark gray.

Height Both male and females are have the same height 21 inches (54 cm) Range - South of Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, and some areas northeastern India. Myanmar Southern China ,Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia , Thailand and mainland malaysia. Habitat - Tropical Forest Food - Birds, fish, monkeys, deer, and rodents. Status - The population is decreasing Reason for status - illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss Gestation Period : 85 - 93 days
