Odd-toed ungulates are known as a special type of hoofed mammals. Probably the most famous example are horses, largely for the reason that the way humans have domesticated them over the years. Two examples of odd toed ungulates are rhinoceros and tapir. However, the two are closely connected. They are animals that have one or three toes bearing the weight of the body.
