Weight  : Male - 880 - 1320 pounds / Female - 440 to 770 pounds

Range - Circumpolar arctic : Northern most part of continents of Americas, Europe and Asia

Habitat - Sea ice and waters, islands and coasts

Diet - Mostly seals, also walrus, beluga, narwal, small mammals

Status -Currently listed as threatened but their numbers are reducing due to global warming and low population growth

Predators - Humans, mountain lions, other bears and wolfs

Reason for the status - Global warming

Lifespan - 25 years

Gestation period - 240 days
