Description

The maned sloth has a flat face, small, concealed ears and sharp, continuously growing teeth. Their fur is long coarse and shaggy and often tinged green with algae. And their heads and body are a grizzled tan in color. They get their name from their long, black mane located on their shoulders and on the back of their necks. Sloths  have three long strong claws on their hands. 

Range -Sloth's live in Brazilian coastal Atlantic rainforest .

Habitat -They live in lowland and upland tropical forest, also Motaine forest too.

Diet -They eat leaves fungus, insects, & molds.

Status - The sloth is declining in the wild

Reason for the status -This is because of deforestation, using rainforest for farming, and habitat destruction.. 

What type of animals -They are Omnivores.
